„More nostalgic hotel. The lobby, rooms, and corridors look very historical.
The waiter was very friendly. In the lobby, there are refreshments and fruits. Breakfast is quite satisfactory, but it is still good.
The geographical environment is excellent. Isolated at the bus station of Gothenburg Central Railway Station. There are also large shopping centers nearby.”

„The staff working on the weekend were super nice and helpful, and I’ve stayed here many, many times, always so nice & such a lovely boutique place to stay with many awesome things to like. On the day I checked out oh my god, where did this girl suddenly come from? Little wanna be Swedish police officer banging on my door trying to get in. Ok i fell asleep after breakfast? So what. Even after i checked out & and was just having a coffee in the lobby, she came again in my face demanding to know if i had checked out? She was just rude, unprofessional, behavior was unbelievable. Really ruined my experience at the nice hotel Pigalle. Actually, I don’t accept people thinking they are better than everyone else & they think that they can just talk to people like they are a piece of crap. Therefore, sadly, I don’t think I will ever stay here ever again.. Sorry but..”

„Transportation: We arrived in Gothenburg by train. The hotel is about 3 kilometers away from the train station. You need to take tram No. 2 or No. 4 to get there (note that the directions of No. 2 and No. 4 from the train station to the hotel are in opposite directions). ). Taking a taxi with Uber costs between 100-200kr. If there are 3-4 people traveling, the price is similar to that of public transportation. A single bus ticket here is 36kr. Uber prices change at any time, so the range is a bit wide.
Room: We booked a family room that can accommodate up to 5 people. It was considered a small suite. The big bed was separate from the other three beds, and there was a bathroom in between. The room is very clean. There is enough space.
Breakfast: There are many varieties, which is quite rich, but there is no salmon in terms of meat. All kinds of sausages and hams. Vegetables were few, just cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuce.
This hotel is next to a paradise, just like domestic paradise hotels. If it is weekends and holidays, there will be many families with children staying. It will be a bit noisy at night and breakfast will be crowded.
Overall satisfied.”

AAntoine BelaieffI loved everything about my stay. First, the hotel is extremely well located across the station and the bus terminal. The entire ground floor is occupied by cozy seating areas, a bar and restaurant that are equally cozy and inviting.
The room was functional and well designed, the bed comfortable and the internet fast and reliable.
The breakfast was extremely varied and of great quality.
I loved the early buffet with a variety of items to take with me when I left at 4:00 am.
An all-around fantastic experience.

WWanna goThis was good hotel, located in the center of Gothenborg where you have good access to almost everything. It was a beautiful hotel with a good interior design. It was clean enough. As a not good point, we can say they don't put slipperies in the rooms that is a little annoying.
Breakfast was perfect with a very good anf acceptable range of foods and drinks.
Parking cost is too much here. It's almost 400 SEK per each day, buy you still have this alternative that park your car in some public parkings, with 10 minutes walking to the hotel and much lower cost.

PPatrickEOverall, this hotel was a superb experience.
We arrived around 18.00 in the evening after a long drive. Unfortunately some technical error in their system required us to wait in the lobby for about 30min, but we were swiftly compensated in the form of free parking and a complimentary prosecco in the room.
The room itself was beautiful. Amazing view, very comfortable bed and TV placement, a very long bathtub. The only mild annoyance was that the bathroom light was finicky to turn on and adjust.
The spa is a must-experience, especially after a long drive from one side of Sweden to the other. It was excellent; nothing to complain about.
The best thing about Upper House however, is the breakfast. I have never had a better breakfast experience anywhere else in the world. I would gladly stay again just to eat their breakfast menu.
Very excellent stay, great service and great food. A solid 9.5/10 experience.

AAnonymous UserCozy hotel with friendly personnel, and an okay single room. It wasn’t large, but it was clean. More than good enough for the two nights I stayed there. But it was in need of maintenance though: the doors and such were quite badly damaged.
I’ve added breakfast to my booking, and this was really good! Lots to choose from, and delicious.
One complaint: the rooms facing the street are not soundproofed enough in my opinion, too much of the noise of the quite busy road outside came in😕
Would stay again though, and I heard the double rooms are less noisy as these don’t face the street.

LLast Teenage SGIt was a quite wonderful experience to stay at First G hotel in terms of the following, I can actually say I have never gotten this kind of experience outside of Japan in my life. Their services with smiling faces, breakfast especially scrambled egg and a lot of line up of breads, convenient location to take almost all trams which will take you anywhere in Goteborg, finally entire performance per cost. Here is some pictures at Haga street, entrance of the street, beautiful church inside and outside.

GGuest UserThere weren't many hotels to stay for family trips. There is a room for 4 people, so I made a reservation right away. Unlike other hotels, the two-story room was unique. There's a room on the first floor. There are two rooms on the second floor, which can accommodate a total of four people. On the dinner soup buffet there was not much to eat for the price(209kr), but the breakfast buffet was excellent. The Lunch was 149 kr. Lunch was good. The view is good because there is a hotel right in front of the river. I was a little uncomfortable because there were no curtains in the bathroom window. I think it need curtains for the bathroom window. Free parking is very good!

GGrace-zhouOn a business trip, it was very cold and it was a weekend. The hotel reception was very enthusiastic and helped us to move our luggage, especially the first floor small bar and the cake after 4 o'clock was very good and intimate. Breakfast is also very rich, will come again next time...

Ssalvalasilvia The hotel’s name on the outside is just “Center Hotel” so you might pass it if you are not paying attention.
While the reception and the outside are a little neglected maybe, the rooms are quite nice and clean.
The breakfast has various choices (vegan and lactose free options included) but it’s maybe a little more on the salty side rather than the sweet one.
And the current hours for breakfast are a little to early.
It would be nice to be able to switch off the main light of the room from the bed, but it was not possible in mine.
